Angel in Need of an Angel

If it was not for Max’s Helping Paws Foundation and Dr. Fradkin, I would not have been able to afford veterinary care for Angel.

— Linda —

Linda is Angel’s mom, and is a senior on an extremely fixed income. Angel is a cute orange Tabby Angel got from a local rescue at 8 weeks old. They are life-companions. A long-time client of Monterey Animal Hospital, when Angel wasn’t eating and was lethargic, her family veterinary practice immediately sponsored her for financial assistance.  Angel was in need of ongoing medication for Angel’s heart and kidney issues. Linda, fearing her inability to make the payments, was hesitant to exhaust her credit, as she had recently lost her CA Disability payments and lives with her mother, also on disability with severely fixed income.

Linda qualified for  the Continued Care Program, and has been helping pay for Angel’s medications and checkups for more than 6 months. This allowed Linda more time with Angel she just wouldn’t have otherwise had.

“I want to thank Max’s Helping Paws Foundation and Dr. Fradkin for helping my cat Angel. Angel is 17 years old and has been ill with Heart problems and Pancreatitis. I rescued Angel through Animal Friends Rescue Project at the age of 8 weeks old. Angel means the world to me. Thank you Dr Fradkin, Dr Lesser and Dr Chung for taking wonderful care of Angel. It has been a very difficult time in my life. Angel and I want to express our appreciation and gratitude to Max’s Helping Paws Foundation. Thank you for the bottom of my heart for saving Angel’s life.”
