Breathing Help For Bella

I’ve had Bella her whole life, I love her so much.

— Kassie —

What is more exciting than welcoming home a new furry member of the family? For Kassie, bringing home a beautiful pup named Bella 7 years ago was the start of her new forever family.

Late in October, after a lovely walk in the park, Kassie noticed Bella was having difficulty breathing. Suspecting a fox tail, and knowing how dangerous they can be for dogs, Kassie reached out to Max’s Helping Paws for assistance in getting Bella seen at the Pet Specialists of Monterey. Kassie reached out because “I am struggling with money to get Bella seen but I am willing to make necessary arrangements like payments. I am a very caring owner and have had Bella all her life. I am just in a tight financial situation.” As a responsible pet owner wanting the best for her fur family, Kassie was willing to do whatever was needed to enable Bella to receive care.

Thankfully, our Diagnostics program is designed especially for cases such as Bella’s. We understand that sometimes just the initial cost of determining what is wrong with our beloved pets can be overwhelming – especially in a year such as this! With the support of our partners at AWAG, Max’s was able to offer the assistance needed for Bella’s diagnostic tests in order to start her on her way to healing.
