I’ve had Samson since he was 8 weeks old, he’s family.
— Danielle —
Danielle and Samson had a love-at-first sight moment 2 years ago when Danielle received this beautiful pit bull puppy. As someone on disability, the comfort which Samson brought into Danielle’s life was immediate. She describes him best as a ‘healthy, loving dog’ and he has been her faithful companion since he as a pup.
When Samson began experiencing difficulties using the restroom, Danielle became increasingly concerned and took him to the VCA Pets Animal Hospital as soon as possible. After a review, it was determined that Samson had kidney stones and needed treatment. Even on a fixed income, Danielle was able to pay for most of the veterinary bill, but the cost was too high to manage herself and she reached out to Max’s Helping Paws for financial assistance. With the support provided, Samson was able to have his kidney stones treated and quite rapidly began the road to recovery towards his healthy and loving self once again.
