Chestnut’s Crisis Fund
This program has been created to help pet owners experiencing severe personal financial loss resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Max’s Helping Paws was created in memory of Maximillian, aka “Noodle,” “Fancypants,” & “Moosh.“ While grieving the loss of our 14 year old MinPin Max after battles with diabetes and kidney cancer, we knew we needed to do something meaningful, and honor Max in a way that would help us heal while helping others. Max’s Helping Paws was created to be a financial lifeline for responsible Monterey County families in need with a pet in a health crisis and has approved more than $200,000 in financial assistance to provide treatments to save, optimize or extend the lives of nearly 250 local pets.
Maximillian was our 14 year old MinPin who passed away, and in whose memory and honor this organization is named.
