Support

There are a variety of ways you can contribute to Max’s Helping Paws. The Foundation strives to use the maximum amount of funds donated for pet care. Directors and Officers of the foundation are not financially compensated. The foundation will maintain a reserve of funds for routine operational expenses such as accounting, tax and government documents preparation, fundraising and outreach.

Financial Support

All donated money not allocated to the reserve fund is designated for fulfillment of Pet Healthcare Grants. You may donate one time, or set up a recurring donation schedule for any amount you choose. Single donations can be made today.

Partnerships

Charitable local partners are crucial to helping our efforts to support Monterey County veterinary practices and pet owners by supporting us through a variety of activities, including ongoing support, event sponsorship, and cause-related marketing. Partners provide funds, products and services to support our initiatives. If you would like to explore ways your business could enter into a charitable partnership with us, please go to our partnership section.

Blood Donor Program

Pet Specialists of Monterey is looking for heroic dogs and cats to participate in its Blood Donor Program and help save the lives of fellow furry friends. To ensure pets in the Monterey Peninsula area have life-saving blood products on hand, Pet Specialists of Monterey has founded a Blood Donor Program to provide for the regular collection and storage of blood to better support veterinary hospitals and pets. Participating pets will have access to the Program’s bank for a reduced fee, and without the delivery delays and potential shortages faced by national blood banks. Click here for more information about this program.
