Cookie is a lovely 9 month old poodle who has been embraced with love by his family. He is such a part of the family that they take turns walking him. It was on one of these walks with Jocelin’s niece that Cookie was unexpectedly bitten by a neighborhood dog. Already a hard working student faced with job loss due to Covid -19, Jocelin turned to Max’s Helping Paws for financial assistance in treatment.
She let us know, “Hi my name is Jocelin. I am 18 and I have lost my job due to Covid 19. I have tried hard so much these months, with the loss of my job and having to pay for school it has been very hard. I love my animals and it would be amazing if you guys could help me. Cookie is such an amazing dog and I just want the best for him. Anything could help I don’t have a lot right now, anything helps.” With providing the community with the means for emergency care on their beloved companions, Max’s Helping Paws was able to ensure Cookie received the treatment needed to cleanse and repair the dog bite. With smiles for the whole family, Cookie was able to join them at home after treatment and has already been back to his perky puppy self again.
