High energy and nothing but smiles, Peaches and his human Caroline fell in love at first sight when they met a year ago. 8 year old Peaches has been a ball of fluffy joy for Caroline ever since she adopted him last year.
Nobody was more surprised than Peaches when this perky Pomeranian began having signs of vomiting, drinking excess water and not eating. In a flurry of worry, Caroline knew she needed to ask for assistance in order to determine what Peaches needed. She explained the situation, “He started to throw up, not eating, and cries in pain often. He will drink lots of water and not urinate. He keeps eating grass. I’m applying because the costs of the full diagnostics is extremely expensive and I cannot afford because of unemployment with COVID 19.”
Keeping the needs of Peaches and his responsible owner in mind, Max’s Helping Paws was able to offer the financial support needed for the diagnostic testing which then began the road to recovery. After Peaches received the care needed, Caroline was able to bring him home where he could be with family again and continue his life of smiles.
