Cooper’s Recovery

The joy of bringing home a new pet was damped just 3 weeks in as the Vargas family discovered their 6 month old Border Collie mix named Cooper throwing up repeatedly one day. The family acted quickly to get the care Cooper needed and shared: “Cooper became very ill. I noticed he wasn’t eating, vomiting and was having stomach troubles. I am concerned for his well being so I took to only clinic that was able to take him in immediately. I cannot afford to pay for veterinary bill given my financial circumstances which is why I was referred to Max’s Helping Paws. ”

With the pandemic happening, this family of 4 was struggling, and the last thing they wanted was to see their new puppy suffer, so they reached out to Max’s Helping Paws. With the financial assistance provided by Max’s and the skillful treatment by the Pet Specialists of Monterey, Cooper was able to get the much-needed tummy relief he needed. Thank goodness this family acted fast!
