Pretty is now Purrfect again

My hours were cut due to Covid-19 affecting my job in the hospitality industry.

2 years ago, a frisky, playful kitty named Pretty decided she would find a new home. She chose Tim and Adrienne as her new forever home and has lived with them ever since. Unexpectedly, in the beginning of July, Pretty started to get sick and her family began to worry. While it is never a good time for a loved furry companion to get sick, the timing was especially tight due to COVID-19 impacting the work of both Tim and Adrienne. Seeing their beloved cat in pain, they reached out to Max’s Helping Paws to try and obtain the financial assistance needed to ensure treatment for Pretty.

They shared with us, “Our sweet girl needs surgery to add drainage tubes in her chest due to an infection. She has already been in the hospital for several days, meaning we are already paying a lot of money for her, plus whatever future treatments she will need to fully recover. We are also waiting for test results that can take even more time. This is making it extremely difficult to continue to pay for our girl’s treatment. She is very important to us and is my girlfriend’s emotional support animal. We can’t afford to lose her.” Once again, Max’s Helping Paws was able to help support a family whose pet needed immediate care and attention.
