Knowing their beloved feline’s daily routine, Esteban was surprised when Shadow returned from his morning stroll limping. ” Usually our cat sleeps inside the house and goes for a walk in the mornings. Shadow left in the morning and he came back home around 11:00 am limping on his left rear leg. Shadow was taken to the vet that day and back to the vet on May 10, 2020. Shadow did not get better after 2 visits and he was taken back today back to the vet.”
With 4 children under the age of 18, Estaban, a custodian at a school that was shut down due to Covid-19, inquired of Max’s Helping Paws for financial assistance so Shadow could receive the needed diagnostic care for his leg. After the Xrays and tests were completed, a plan of recovery was created for Shadow and his leg was able to start mending.
