They Just Needed Someone to Say “Yes”

We have no clue how we are going to pay for all of this.

— Ahsoka's mom —

COVID-19 has affected everyone, even our beloved Pets. Case in point: Ahsoka the full of life, happy 4 1/2 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. Her owners Colleen and Robert noticed a hole in her back leg, exposing the metal implant from a previous surgery from July of 2019. Ahsoka is like their child and they have always found a way to pay her vet bills. From that surgery along with another, the family was struggling financially when this happened. Knowing they had no time to waste and stressing over the financial burden they were already carrying due to being laid off from their jobs during the COVID-19 Pandemic, they turned to Max’s Helping Paws for assistance. The Chestnut Crisis Fund was there to help Ahsoka out, along with a lot of love, and recovery time she is back to playing with her toys, and taking trips to the beach with her family again.
