Sweet Bliss

Bliss has been in our family over 5 years and now has a broken leg. We want her to get the help she needs.

— Zepeda Family —

Tiny and petite, little Bliss came to the Zepeda family 5 years ago when they adopted her into their family. She has certainly lived up to her name by being a consistent bright spot in their lives with her joyful personality! Along with walks and snuggles, their favorite activity to do together is go to the beach…apparently the family that plays together, stays together!

This Spring, while out adventuring together, the unexpected occurred when Bliss broke her leg. The family was distraught over the break and came to Max’s Helping Paws right away for assistance. The Zepeda’s were able to pay for the initial exam but the cost of resetting the bone was going to be more than the family could afford. Having lost work due to COVID and living on a low-income budget, this unexpected cost wasn’t going to be possible without a financial lifeline. Max’s was established to meet needs exactly such as what the Zepeda’s were experiencing, to be the difference between a pet suffering or being surrendered, and coming home healthy and safe with their family.

Thanks to our community partners, Max’s was able to extend the lifeline of aid needed to ensure Bliss received the x-rays, splint and medications needed for her broken leg. The last we heard, the family has been pampering and loving up on Bliss as she continues her recovery. We wish you all the best and hope for a fast healing for you Bliss!
